If you haven't read this book, then you must. It was written by Don Borchert, a public librarian in California. You will laugh throughout this book and recognize many situations you yourself have encountered right here at MCPL. I think this should be required reading for all SLIS students who intend to work in a public library. I like the fact that the author shows that librarians are not boring, nor are their jobs!
