Sorry, folks, but I disagree with the world. This movie was boring as well as pointless. Granted I didn't read the book. But I don't think that should be necessary to understanding a movie. I'm also usually about 50-50 as far as liking British period dramas, not to mention Kiera Knightley and her jutting jaw. But, geez, at least make the characters interesting or a bit likeable. It did look really pretty and I liked Kiera's green gown.
