So often in our country the debate around immigration focuses on the usual binary. One side says, "They're illegal so kick 'em all out" while the other side says "They need to be legalized so they can pay taxes like everyone else." This new book explores a third option that lifts the staleness off the immigration debate. Sen explores the idea of creating a European style union in the Americas with open borders, international laws governing human rights, and citizenship for all.
