It was a difficult read. I have thought about the tone, the topic and the love that was expressed everyday since finishing it.
David Sheff tells the true story of every parent's worst nightmare. He details the descent of his son Nic, so bright and charismatic as a child, into methamphetamine addiction, and the struggles the whole family faced as Nic started down the road to recovery.

I read this too, and I know how you feel Julie. But I thought it was very well-written and a unique perspective on the subject of addiction- the parent's, rather than the addict's.
